Membership has benefits....

PAPNA membership has its benefits. Membership runs September 1 to August 31.

A Full member is that individual who is a Pennsylvania Practical Nursing program Dean, Director, Chair, or Coordinator. Program Assistant Deans, Directors, Chairs or Coordinators are also considered for full membership. Faculty of program Administrators having full membership are eligible to participate and attend educational conferences and programming.

Full membership includes voting privileges at the Biannual business meetings. Full members are eligible to hold offices, participate on committees and bring concerns to the business meetings for consideration. Full members are part of an email list-serve to enhance group communications and better Pennsylvania's Practical Nursing education. Full members are actively involved in advocating for the Practical Nursing profession throughout the state and nationally.

Annual dues are $100.00 as of July 1, 2018.

Associated membership is available to a Dean, Director, Chair or Coordinator of a Practical Nursing Program and, if applicable, the Assistant Deans, Directors, Chairs or Coordinators outside of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This member can address issues and bring concerns to the group, however cannot vote. Annual dues are $75.00 as of July 1, 2018

Honorary membership is available for those who have demonstrated an interest in practical nursing advocacy and education. These members are nominated and voted for membership by Full members.

Lifetime membership is reserved for that individual who was a full member and currently retiring but would like to remain part of the group. Life members can attend conferences and meetings but cannot hold office, make motions or vote.

There is no annual fee for Lifetime or Honorary membership.
